
MTV VMA 2017 Winners
Variety.com: Music’s most unpredictable night took place on Sunday, with the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
Kendrick Lamar, who kicked off the show with his songs “DNA” and “Humble,” won video of the year, with Ed Sheeran taking home artist of the year. Lamar was the night’s big winner overall, taking home five prizes including best hip-hop video.
Along with Lamar and host Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony, Lorde, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Shawn Mendes also performed. Pink received this year’s Vanguard Award.
