Mission Impossible 6 Filming Is On Hold After Tom Cruise Breaks Ankle
mediaexpress.reuters.com: The accident has forced Paramount Pictures to temporarily halt production while Cruise recovers.
Paramount released a statement saying, "Tom wants to thank you all for your concern and support and can't wait to share the film with everyone next summer."
No word on how long production will be on hiatus, but the studio said the movie is still on schedule for a July 27, 2018 opening.
Cruise's last "Mission Impossible" film, "Rogue Nation," garnered more than $680 million at the worldwide box office in 2015.
